Importing data: Microsoft Outlook

To bring your list data into your MS Outlook Contacts folder:

  1. Click on File > New > Folder.
  2. Give the folder a name.
  3. Select Contact Items in the Folder Contains box.
  4. Select Contacts in the Select Where To Place the Folder dialog.  Click OK.
  5. Click File > Import and Export.
  6. In the Import and Export Wizard, select Import from another program or file and click Next.
  7. Select Comma Separated Values (Windows) in the Import a File box and click Next.
  8. Click on Browse.
  9. In the Files of Type box select Comma Separated Values (Windows) and browse to the file you received from us.
  10. Double click the file.
  11. Select whether or not you want duplicates under Options and click Next.
  12. Now select the folder you created in step 2 and click Next.
  13. Place a check in the The following actions will be performed box, then click Map Custom Fields.
  14. If the file you received has a header record, place a check in the First record contains field names box.
  15. Click and drag each field from the From box to the corresponding field in Outlook.
  16. Continue dragging each field until they are all mapped to fields in Outlook, then click OK.
  17. Click Finish and your records will be imported into the folder you created in step 2.
