Importing data: Goldmine

1. Begin by opening an existing contact book.
2. Click Tools > Import Records.
3. Click Import a New File, select ACSII and click Next.
4. Click Browse and browse to the location of the file you received from us.
5. In the Files of Type box choose Text Files.
6. Locate your file and double-click it. Click Next.
7. On the Import File Profile click Next.
8. Now you need to map the fields in the file you received to the fields in Goldmine.
9. Click on Label001.  Then click on the corresponding field in Goldmine.  Finally, click Map to GM.
10. Continue with Label002 and so on until all fields are mapped, then click Next.
11. You can now choose whether or not to save this mapping for future use.  If you wish to save it, click Yes, name the file and click Next.  Otherwise, click No.
12. Click on Finish and your file will begin importing.
